Ce Honeywell Heiland Pentax 79H1 est le nom pour le marché américain du Pentax S1. Il s'agit de la version économique du Honeywell Heiland Pentax H3 (Pentax S3 sur notre vieux continent). Il est en effet monté en standard avec un Auto-Takumar 2,2 au lieu de 1,8 et sa vitesse maximum indiquée est le 1/500 et non le 1/1000. Bien que non marquée, le 1/1000 est pourtant bien présent.
